The Sapplings: Characters

	Prumonty: A Pollination Controller... He guides the bees to the centres of flowers so they can collect the nectar.
	Aunt Whispy: A Lacewing Manager... She puts spots on plants to show where greenfly and whitefly are damaging plants. The Lacewings then fly down to devour them.
	Uncle Angorank: A Beetle Polisher... He guides the beetles into his polishing area and cleans their shell to make them shiny.
	Nirlem: A Weed Winkler... Not the gardeners friend because he moves slabs and other things to help the weeds to grow.
	Granny Cadendra: A Vine and Climber Tyer... Her main role is to help any vines like ivy and Clematis grip things to help them grow strong and tall.
	Bronick: A Woodlice Inspector... He counts the woodlice in the garden to make sure they come to no harm.
	Quinette: She is a Sting Injector... As a Scientist she makes the mixtures for the stings for plants like Nettles and Thistles. She also makes them for insects like Wasps.
	Fanethdra: A Ladybird Painter and frost designer... In the summer, she paints the spots on Ladybirds. In the winter, she helps Jack Frost design his patterns, often seen on window panes.
	Spinetta: A Web Weave Supporter... She helps the spiders create their web and uses her measuring stick to keep the patterns equal and neat.
	Henshaw: A Hider... Whenever the gardener puts something down but can’t find it, usually Henshaw is responsible. He takes things and hides them just for fun.
	Ribeth: A Snail Herder and butterfly pupae protector... She helps the snails slide over dry ground and also helps protect butterflies as they change from a caterpillar into a butterfly.
	Shoebilly: He is an orphan who lives with Granny Cadendra. He works with anyone in the garden who needs help.
